Hey kittens, today’s blog post is a little late (sorry, Blogmas is keeping me busy!) but it’s perfectly in time for the Christmas Party Season. A couple of weeks ago I was invited along to the collection launch of Little Black dress at Manchester House. As Manchester House is nationally known for being a glamorous location, I just had to pop along to see what the collection would hold!

The event was held on the bar of Manchester House, on the 12th floor. Although I have visited Manchester House before for the Links of London #HiddenGems dinner, the venue still blows me away. If you are in Manchester, you should definitely visit Manchester House if only for drinks. The view is stunning and the perfect environment for showcasing a glamorous collection of evening dresses. In fact, I felt a little too casual, as almost everyone else was wearing a said LBD!

I sipped on a cocktail and viewed the collection of dresses. Little Black Dress is an online store that sells a range of evening and cocktail dresses from different concessions, but have just this year released their own collection. Each of their own dresses are of course, black, and are named after different celebrities with a similar style. For example, the Victoria dress (named after Victoria Beckham) is simple yet stylish, whilst the Marilyn is a little more ‘old hollywood’ and classic’.

The venue was jam packed full of the fashion packs of Manchester (a little too full if anything), but it was worth it to spend some time in the company of beautiful dresses with a beautiful view. After the event, I was kindly asked if I would like to try a dress for myself, and after replying Yes Please!! I picked a classic LBD for myself.
