#LFLoves lookfantastic Beauty Box February 2016

Another month, another lookfantastic beauty box – and this one is a special London Fashion Week x Valentine’s Day edition; #LFLoves. Worth over £50, the #LFLoves lookfantastic Beauty Box February 2016 costs only £15 and comes with a variety of monthly themed treats inside! As usual, I’m going to let you have a sneak peek inside my favourite beauty box on the market…

The first thing I noticed when I opened this month’s lookfantastic Beauty Box February 2016 was the complimentary Elle Magazine that came alongside with it. Preferring to keep up to date with blogs, I can’t remember the last time I read a ‘proper’ paper magazine but it feels like such a treat to be given a good ole’ glossy for free. It’s just the size of the box and the perfect accompliment to slip into my handbag for lunch times at work or the morning commute. It also perfect fits this month’s theme of London Fashion Week, too.

So, onto the products. I love how the #LFBeautyBox always comes with a mixture of different types of beauty products; skincare, bodycare, make-up and haircare. I have to be totally honest in that the haircare products are the ones I get least thrilled about (mainly because I have very fickle curly hair and I tend to stick to what I know). However it is always handy to have a decent sample sized shampoo and conditioner for travelling, and this KMS Calirfornia Colourvitality Colour Conditioner sample is just the ticket. This month we are also treated to a mini hair brush from hair experts Denman, which would also be ideal for travel – or, just popping on the end of your keyring. It’s always handy to have a little brush on the go!

Next up, body and skincare! This Bliss Aloe Vera and Grapefruit Body Butter sample is just a dream – I am a big moisturiser buff and so it’s always a treat to try a new brand. I’m also new to Monuspa and so I was excited to find sample of the Monuspa Bali Massage and Body Oil, found within the luxury Monuspa gift sets. Both of these are again perfect sizes for travel, and unlike some samples found in other beauty boxes, these have enough product in to last you through trying them properly – unlike a tiny little sachet which is only good for one morning and night!

Finally, these are the two items in the box I have really got excited about! I love Lord and Berry and so I was so delighted to find a Lord and Berry 20100 Lipstick Pencil in the box. This is a full sized product and such a treat to recieve within a subscription box! The muted pink colour is also a great choice, as this is a shade which will suit most skintimes.

And finally, the creme de’la creme of the box (and possibly my favourite item ever included in a beauty box) is the Hi Impact Brows eye and eyebrow kit. Now, I couldn’t find this item on the lookfantastic website, but this compact palette costs £18.99, so by buying this box you get your money back and more on this one item. I love how versatile the neautral matte shades in this palette are – they are perfect for creating a crease on the eyeliner and defining your brows at the same time. It’s love!
