Spring is here and the floral mini dresses are out. Not brave enough to dare to bare my legs, I’m opting for black opaque tights to cover up and compliment my Monochrome floral mini dress. The bold graphic prints on this dress are a lovely accompaniment to it’s black and white colouring, with a pair of black and white shoes to boost the monochrome. Ooh, lovely.
There’s something I feel is a little bit 1960s about this outfit – perhaps it’s the statement sunglasses, perhaps it’s the shift dress shape. Over all, it’s definitely something shorter than I would usually feel comfortable with, but hey, it’s sunny now so we can get away with it, right?
I love the location of these photos – taking spontaneous pictures on days out is one of my favourite things to do and when I stumbled across these back streets after a late lunch in Manchester I had to take some snaps. Please don’t take notice of my food baby; the purple walls were calling for a photoshoot regardless of whether I’d just eaten a pizza or not. It was totally worth it, anyway.
