Pore extractor masks are all the range right now. I mean, who doesn’t want flawless looking skin, free of blackheads and enlarged pores?! Although it might not be realistic to aim for completely blemish free skin, one can damn well try, and my latest pursuit into this is trying the Murad Pore Extractor Pomegranate Face Mask.
Most pore extractor face masks contain charcoal and as a result are often dark grey and black in colouring. The Murad Pore Extractor Pomegranate Face Mask is an exception to the rule however, and comes in a beautiful pink clay consistancy – which is much prettier! The pink colouring not only looks gorgeous on your skincare shelf but takes on the appearance of the Pomegrante fruit, the key ingredient in this mask. Powerful antioxidant-rich Pomegranate Extract promotes glowing skin for visibly refined pores and cleaner, smoother skin.
I like to use this mask once or twice a week whilst in the bath and apply it only around the T-Zone and not across the whole face. I leave this to set on my T-Zone for around 10 minutes whilst I wash my hair, and when washing off I massage in circular motions. This helps to work the tiny beads in the mask around your face for a light exfoliation, too. This, alongside the Volcanic Clay included in the mask, acts like a magnet to help extract impurities and excess oil deep within pores.
