Hey, kittens! :)
HAPPY NATIONAL STOCKINGS DAY! This outfit is in celebration of my love for tights and stockings, hence my beautiful House of Holland alphabet tights from TightsPlease.co.uk!
I absolutely adore these unique and quirky tights, they’re not only fashionable but definitely a thicker quality than my cheap pattern pairs from bargain shops. Although the tights cost £12.48 TightsPlease, which is about £10 more than I usually pay for my cheap pairs, you can definitely tell the difference in denier – I haven’t even laddered them yet! They’re also cheaper from TightsPlease than I’ve seen on the high street and arrived quickly with great communication (I also haven’t even seen a Primark dupe of this design yet!). I would highly reccomend these tights and I think they’re in perfect fashion for National Stockings Day, all in the name of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If these alphabet tights don’t ticket your fancy, Tights Please are sure to sell some tights that do, like their footless tights or even their leggings – my favourites are these amazing leopard pannel numbers!
As the tights are so patterned and eye-catching, I kept the rest of the outfit relavitely plain to compensate for this – although ya’ll know I love my pattern-clashing leopard print injection in every outfit possible! This time, the faux fur coat from New Look and the cheap market ring provided my fix. I decided upon autumnal tones to reflect the changing nature of the season and brightened the earthy shades with a warm, M’orange lip.
The neutrality of the garmets is highlighted through this studding nude coloured Sandy Belted Skater Mini Skirt from ProdigyRED.com. Its a full flare mini skater skirt, which I think is flattering on any body shape due to its elasticated waistband and removable belt (which came with the skirt – bonus!). Its length is
Length 43cm which I love, as I usually have trouble with skirts being indecently short on my long legs but I felt 100% comfortable and confident in this. Although this nude colour will go with everything, I may even have to invest in other colours it also comes in 6th other shades.
Over all, I think the outfit puts together quite nicely, although next time I would go with a polo neck shirt. What do you all think and what tights are you wearing today in celebration of National Stockings Day?
