The weather in Manchester right now is SO sunny. Like, really sunny. Like, we haven’t even had rain in about a week, kind of sunny. The only problem is, it still isn’t that warm. Yeah, the sun’s out, but it’s still a bit chilly, so this week I’ve been battling with what to wear to transition me from cold mornings, to warm afternoons. I reckon this outfit works pretty well.

This blue duster jacket is becoming a firm favourite for me right now – it might not be timeless, and I might not keep it forever, but costing less than a tenner it’s a pretty good investment for one season only and at the moment it’s doing me just fine. It’s the perfect light jacket to pop on in the morning, and not worry about dragging it over your shoulder for when the day warms up after lunch. Plus, the colour is pretty bright, which is a nice alternative to a winter coat!
The statement in this look, however, has to be my YES/NO clutch bag from Dorothy Perkins. I just can’t get enough of it. As it’s monochrome, it just goes with everything and injects a little fun in to any look. I’m pretty sure Dorothy Perkins are doing some other statement clutch bags right now, too, which I have my eye on as well.
