Hiya kitty cats, y’alright? Time for another Outfit of the Day I reckon, and this one is a London edition. As y’all know, I recently attended the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards and as I’m not in dowwwn Southhh very often, I thought I’d make the most of it by being a tourist for a couple of days. And of course, I just had to visit my favourite place in area – Camden Town.
Camden probably isn’t for everyone. It’s a bit rough and ready and it’s always busy, but I love it. You’re never short of a few moshers when you visit and that takes me right back to my rock roots! Aside from the bustling atmosphere, I love the huge market atmosphere and the range of items on offer – from trinkets to tasty snacks, they’ve got a bit of everything. However, the thing they’ve got the most of? Clothes!
Although I’d ordinarily prefer to dress a little more quirky on my “holiday” days, with a tiny travel suitcase I had to pack a capsule wardrobe suitable for the chilly weather. For this, I chose a standard pair of black skinnies and some black winter boots, which pretty much go with everything. However, not comfortable on being too plain, I wore this amazing heart print blouse from OASAP – a dead ringer for the Burberry heart print shirt that every front-row celeb and their mum has been wearing this Autumn. Gotta love a good designer dupe.
However, the highlight of this look has to be this bold and beautiful swallow print jumper from Tu @ Sainsburys’. After visiting my local Sainsbury’s for the Tu rebranding and Autumn/Winter collection launch a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been lusting after so many of their pieces and this one is quickly becoming a winter wardrobe staple. So often it’s hard to find knitwear that’s comfortable and fashionable (and quirky enough for camden) but this one ticks all the boxes.
After a couple of laps around the market stalls (and a few quid later on) it was time to catch the train back up Norf, but hey, it was nice to visit the lower end of England for a few days. Although, I gotta say, there’s no place like home.
Right kittens, have you ever been to Camden? Leave me a comment below and let me know! And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, like my Facebook page and subscribe to my Youtube channel to keep up to date with all things fashion!

Thanks so much, Kelly, what a lovely comment!
I was actually really good and resisted buying any dresses, although I was a little naughty and bought some jewellery :) x
