Outfit of the Day – “Clubmaster Ray Bans & Maxi Skirt”

Hello kittens!

This outfit is really exciting for me as I am wearing these amazing Clubmaster Ray Bans from Pretavoir! I will place all the links for the glasses down below and also my review on them, but lets just say, I am absolutely in love with both Pretavoir and these Ray Bans! I’ve never felt so lucky to have such an amazing pair of shades in my collection!

The intention in this outfit was to make the most of a really comfortable summer style which I will no longer be able to wear for a long time, as the heavy weather is already setting in! Both the vest top and the maxi skirt were chosen primarily for comfort in warm weather, but the paisley pattern on the maxi instantly creates an unusual holiday feel. I absolutely adore the way maxi skirts look on everyone and I feel that its an amazing way to recreate a vacation look even when you’re staying at home!

The sandles are from New Look and were a bargain £3! They’re orange and I feel that orange is just such a bright, summery colour that they could go with just about anything despite their vibrant shade. They certainly tie in well with the warm colours on the maxi skirt and in my jewellery and headband.

My jewellery was also chosen to tie in with the holiday look. Both the bracelet and necklace are beaded in bright, warm colours and instantly bring a bit of sunshine to the black vest top. Although dull, I felt the black top was needed in order to prevent looking like a circus full of bright colours! If I were abroad, I probably would have chosen a white vest top, but given that there is little chance of overheating in the UK, I felt black was a safe option.

The Ray Bans really help to instantly upgrade a casual outfit to something chic and designer. The tortoise shell colour of the frames goes with almost any outfit and helps to bring a bit of light to the shades and over all, I feel the brown tones are a lot more forgiving on pale skin tones (like myself) than black. It also helps to match in well with the warm colours of my skirt and jewellery!

Over all, I feel like you could wear these Clubmaster sunglasses in any weather and your insides will instantly feel warm and summery – I know its the way these make me feel!
