Outfit of the Day: Daisy Chains

Having previously not had a lot of knitwear for the past couple of years, this winter has seen a huge fashion influx in my woolly jumper department. I seem to have developed a slight obsession with a good knitted sweate; whether that’s due to style or comfort, I’m not sure yet, but as it’s so chilly in the office at the mo it’s working out quite handy. As well as being a winter warmer, the print on this daisy-patterned jumper is cute and light enough to also take me through to the chillier months of spring. I like a good all-rounder.

Both the jumper and necklace in this look are from OMG Fashion, a highly affordable online shop – they even have dresses from as little as a fiver. You can barely get a lunchtime butte for £5 anymore! I popped a peter-pan blouse underneath the jumper to give it a little injection of my style. Plus, the chunky chain helps to liven up the look and give it a bit of edge. Y’all know I love a good statement necklace.

For my bottom half, I popped on some blue skinny jeans from New Look – a weekend favourite of mine – rolling up the bottoms at the ankles. To complete the casual yet preppy look, I slipped on my white low-top Converse from Cloggs. Laid-back shoes are pretty out of my comfort zone, but the actual comfort of these babies make them hard to resist; so wrong they feel so right.
