Outfit of the Day: Fairytale Fashion

Hey kittens, have you ever worn an outfit that you just feel special in? Like an actual princess? This is what happens when I wear this look. Prancing around in this, I felt like an actual fairytale princess and even though that mind sound a little silly, I reckon there’s no better feeling than having confidence in what you’re wearing.

This stunning waterfall shape midi dress from Prodigy Red really is something else. The assymetrical chiffon skirt of this dress really gives the look something extra – it’s not quite a midi, not quite a maxi. It lets you get your legs out in the style of a mini dress but gives you all the dignity and integrity of a ball gown. Plus, the Victorian rococo print is right up my street – it’s delicate, feminine yet still gives the look a lovely vintage feel that stands out from the usual dip-hem scene. PS it’s only £12.99!

I chose subtle accessories with gold hardware to complete the look. My faux peter-pan collar necklace was a lovely little find from Adorning Ava. As y’all know, I’m a lover of anything formal and collared so I was delighted to be able to add a little formalwear inspired jewellery to this look. The pearls also compliment the vintage look perfectly. To match, I donned my pointed court shoes from Ravel; the nude colour doesn’t draw away from the pattern of the dress and the cute little bows add to the vintage feel. As a finishing touch, I popped on a small floral headband to add to the princess feel!
