This amazing floral two-piece from Pop Couture is right up my street. It’s chic, it’s unusual and it’s still thoroughly smart. I cannot tell you how in love with this outfit I am, it’s gotta be right up there with my favourites. It’s a statement look, but it’s not too much. In fact, the print reminds me a lot of my Graphic Floral Print Outfit of the Day inspired by Mary Katranzou. I mean, you can’t deny that it’s pretty out-there, but I like to think that with minimal accessories and otherwise neautral tones, you can stay well clear of the Kim Kardashian Met Gala Dress disaster of May 2013!
My only niggle is how tight fitting the trousers are – disproportionately so! Whilst the Ardelle blazer is a little out-sized, (I’d say perhaps go one size up from what you would usually), the Arden trousers are a lot smaller. To give you some idea, I’m not too proud to say that I’m wearing the largest size Pop Couture make, a size 14, and these are still pretty small on me. I’d just say bear that in mind if you’re thinking of investing, kittens.
To pick out the warm, gold tones in the suit, I popped on my Miss Pap blouse with gold buttons and collar tips with my fav M Vintage Jewels necklace. I love wearing this this petitie curb chain necklace from MVintage Jewels. collars to give blouses a little something extra. Heck, I wear it almost everyday as it just adds a little more ellaboration to the collar, almost working as collar tips too (and y’all know I love those!).
I also picked out a handbag with gold hardware to add to the theme of this look. This La Moda bag was perfect as the black faux-leather matched my New Look wedges perfectly, toning down the look a little whilst still coinciding with the gold tones. The fact that it has studs is an added bonus! To finish off the accessories, I wore black nail varnish and this fantastic geode ring I picked up whilst in Brussels with work in December. It has to be one of my favourite rings – such an unusual piece yet still understated due to the colour.

Absolutely gorgeous look, I've wanted a floral trouser suit forever! Shame about the sizing issue though, how odd – no way are those a size 14!!
