Hey kittens, Happy Halloween! Today’s spooktacular Outfit of the Day blog post is definitely not my usual style, but one which I styled to be festive for the occasion – hope the black lipstick doesn’t scare you too much. Not gonna lie, it takes me back to my early teens…

The 90’s trend isn’t one I’m a fan of, so this look is as scary as it’s going to get for me this year! Despite the 1990’s style being huge this year I’ve just never looked back on that decade as having any sort of real ‘class’ about it, but when I found this vintage pencil skirt in a charity shop I just couldn’t resist snapping it up for a mere quid. It’s orange tartan is perfect for halloween, and it just screams 1990’s grunge fashion. Paired with black accessories, such as some dark make-up and these dip toe ankle boots from Geox to toughen up the pencil skirt shape, it makes a perfect retro look suitable for thing’s a little more spooktacular today.
