Karma Clothing set me the challenge of styling one of their items from their “Crazy Prints” collection. Well, I’m not gonna lie, it was a pretty big challenge. I love a good pattern but wow, they really habe some patterns! However, I stepped out of my comfort zone and went for this American print maxi dress. Americano has been a huge trend for the past couple of years and it’s showing no signs of disappearing! Karma Clothing also do a traditional coloured print but I thought this monochrome take on the look was a little more unusual and much more wearable.
As the dress is black and white, I added some warm tones by accessorising with gold and tan coloured items, such as my super comfortable gladiator sandals from Clarks. This spike bracelet is also from Karma Clothing and is an easy way to toughen up a look. I popped on my triangle necklace from Lily King, too, as I thought it resembled bunting. Heck, when I get a theme, I like to see it through!
The dress is a pretty good fit for the weather at the moment. You can’t really beat a maxi for daytime comfort, however, night time comfiness has been taken to a whole ‘nother level since my Snugaroo discovery…
Fortunately, I’ve saved your eyes of the strain of seeing me prance around in it. This onesie features a fun stars and stripes design in contrasting navy, red and white. The Snuggaroo onesie has a loose fit for ultimate comfort and a chunky white double-ended zip so you can jump in and out with ease. It also has thick ribbed cuffs, elasticated ankles and a chunky white pull cord hood. I’d highly recommend it!
