Okay, okay, I can’t pretend that these pictures were taken in Manchester (although we do have some pretty amazing canals). In fact, they were taken on a recent trip to North Wales, which may not sound tropical, but the weather kind of was! Although it wasn’t massively warm, it was lovely and sunny and so my usual goth-in-summertime routine came to fruition once again this year.

Okay so it might be June, but it certainly ain’t summer yet. It’s still chilly and God forbid leaving the house without a cardigan or brolly, you never know when you’re going to get caught out in the rain! In fact, this year I’ve not yet had a chance to pop on a pair of denim shorts or get out my beautiful collection of summer dresses, because the weather just isn’t there yet!
Instead, I’m still in my skinny jeans and knitwear, in my Monochrome Stripy Top. Goth life, through and though. However I do really love these black rounded sunglasses – they were only a couple of quid online and any searches on eBay for ’round frame sunglasses’ will bring up similar types. They’re a statement without being ‘too much’ and don’t leave me looking quite like Ozzy Osbourne. Not quite.
