Pink Palm Print Blouse Outfit

It may not 100% look like summer outside, but heck, I’m gonna make it feel like summer whilst I can – which is why I recently donned this Palm Print Blouse from Primark for a recent trip into town. It may not be the world’s most flattering garment, but there’s something about the gaudy print of this shirt that reminds me of 1950’s diners and retro Americana – and I kinda love it.

Seriously – don’t you just love the bright pastels of 1950’s old Hollywood? Well, I certainly love it, and I had so much fun styling up this tropical blouse (which was a bargain £5 from Primark last year) with a suitable retro hair flower and some simply strappy flat sandals from Clarks.

The icing on top of the cake for this outfit has to be these stunning cat eye sunglasses from Miu Miu. I treated myself to them a few weeks ago and I am so pleased I did – they are just such a fabulous statement piece and although being quite unusual, I can see them going with pretty much again. Girl’s gotta treat herself every now and again, hasn’t she?

Although this particular blouse is no longer available from Primark, the palm tree print is out in full force this season and pretty much every women’s fashion store has an item on offer that will appeal to your more exotic site – try this monochrome palm print shirt if you’re not feeling that brave, or go for something a little louder with this Biba palm print dress.
