After initially confessing my love for my new favourite high street liquid lipsticks, the Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick range, in a blog post a few months ago, I thought it only fair I update my opinions as my collection expands. All in the name of beauty blog research, eh?! My newest addition to my ever growing liquid lipstick collection is the Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in Birthday Suit; a beautiful nude alternative to my brighter red (Matte Me in Rioja Red) and purple (Matte Me in Fandango) colours I have already picked up from the Matte Me range.
Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in Birthday Suit is a beautiful ‘your lips but better’ shade. It’s nude enough to be ideal for daytimes – or a subtle compliment to a bold smoky eye at night – but also pigmented enough to show you’ve made the effort to wear a little lippy. It has brown undertones which would compliment most skintones in a Kyle Jenner-esque way, and although it doesn’t last all day without touch-ups, at only £4.99 this is a totally more affordable way to recreate that Kylie Look without breaking the bank. At less than a fiver I reckon you should try it.
