Let’s be honest here – I love my interiors but DIY and renovations aren’t really my thing. Hey, I can’t lie, I don’t like to break my nails but I do like to switch up my homewear styling a little for each season. So, for me, soft furnishings are the way to go. Changing up accessories is a dead easy way to give your interiors a little refresh each season without redecorating the whole room, so here are the top 3 trendy summer soft furnishings you need for this season.

Cacti

In case you haven’t been in any shops this summer, plants have made a real comeback across homewear, fashion and pattern accessories. Palm prints are big on dresses (like my palm print dress here) but for the home, it’s cactus all the way. Last year shrubs and bamboo had their time, but right now it’s all about the cacti – which is pretty lucky considering that cacti are probably the cheapest of these! Use them over your settees, as a table cloth or even a picnic blanket outside to add a little boho glamour to any room. Popping a few of these around your home will make sure your house has a subtle summer vibe without having to do any major redecoration; sounds good to me!
