Not a lot of you might know this, but I have a confession: I wear glasses. When I sit down at the computer for a spot of blogging, I can’t make it through the day without putting on a pair of my favourite specs and taking the screen glare off my face. Despite the fact that not many people see me wear them – work friends, family – I still like to choose a pair that makes me feel fierce and fabulous, so it’s great to hear that Specsavers have been taking that on board when choosing their frames.

Last week, local lad Armand Beasley (you know him – I’ve mentioned him several times before on this blog), an internationally renowned celebrity makeup artist spent a day at Specsavers in Manchester Arndale styling both celebs and shoppers in a new pair of designer frames. Armand’s celeb friend, Manchester actress Lucy-Jo Hudson, was quick to pop by for her own make-over, and image advice about the key fashion looks for Spring 2015.

As a customer of Specsavers in Manchester Arndale myself (honestly, I went for my last check up 2 weeks ago and ended up splurging £150 on my newest pair of work glasses – eek!) I am excited to pop by again in a couple of weeks to see the new SS15 frames for myself. Stay tuned to see what my fav specs are for this year!
