Summer Lookbook 2015 Video

I have such a love-hate relationship with YouTube; it just takes up SO much time and is pretty slow going for me. However, one thing I really love about YouTube is how it lets me get a little more creative than I sometimes can be with my blog. One of the things I enjoy most about it are my quarterly Lookbook videos, and this season’s Summer Lookbook 2015 Video is now live!

Four outfits in 2 minutes… I’m speedy, I know! And if you’re wondering where I got all of my items, have a look at the breakdown of the outfits below…

Look 1

This was created as part of a challenge Quiz Clothing set me to style up an outfit for date night. I am so in love with this bright pastel floral dress – it’s perfect for a summer party or night out, and a lovely modern take on the classic 1950’s prom dress shape. Such a flattering fit. This exact dress is now in the sale at Quiz, so grab it while you can!

Look 2

Look number 2 of my Summer Lookbook 2015 Video kinda appears like it might be a lot of effort… But it really isn’t! This beautiful kimono is from Unique 21  and is so easy to throw on over a pair of jeans and vest top to smarten up any look. Pair with a floral headband and feather necklace and you’re pretty much festival-ready in just a few simple accessories. Love.

Look 3

On to Look number 3, which is a lot more casual. I’m not usually a jeans and t-shirt type gal but you can’t beat chilling in something a little more casual on sunnier days. Go for bold floral prints to make a bit more of a statement, and smarten up the look with a pair of formal shoes; these cut-out brogue-sandal hybrids are ideal for chillier summers. Unfortunately we are having more chilly days than sunny days this year, which makes them (fortunately) ideal!

Look 4

The final look of my Summer Lookbook 2015 kinda reminds of American sunny lazy days, if that makes any sense at all! It just so happens I wore it when I was out for a picnic and it turned out to be the perfect look for the location, so it all went together quite nicely! This cotton denim style dress is a little out of my comfort zone, so let me know what you think of it please – I was sent it as part of my huge Fashion Chick UK Blogger Network parcel and couldn’t wait to take it for a spin!
