Tartan Swing Dress

Is it Spring? Kinda. Am I still wearing a faux fur coat? Definitely. Faux fur is for life, not just for Christmas, and whilst it’s still cold outside I’m still gonna wear it. It’s definitely getting a little sunnier in general now, but when I took these photos in Manchester a few weeks ago it was hailing at this exact moment, so ‘scuse the muddy boots. The glamour of fashion blogging, eh.

I am forever wearing swing dresses and Want That Trend keeps me well in stock with a variety of different prints and patterns. I love this tartan one not only because it combines two of my favourite colours (red and black) but it also has the added neck detail. It’s a really affordable dress but adding some diamontes to the neck really helps to make it feel like something special, I love it.

I kept accessories simple by including my new every day handbag: this beautiful black leather Chrissy bucket bag from Marc B Bags. Over the years I’ve had a number of Marc B Bags which have all been exceptional quality considering how affordable they are – at around £50 you would be forgiven for thinking this was a lot more expensive. With gold hardware detail and leopard print lining, it certainly feels luxurious.
