The Body Shop body butter is one product I have continued to repurchase for many years, in many different varieties, and so when I saw their latest edition was Green Tea scented, I couldn’t resist trying it out. It was only fair I got my mitts on the new Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter and Shower Gel to let you know how these compare to the rest of the body butters in the range…

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel* costs £6 for 250ml which I think is a highly reasonable price for a good quality shower gel. Aside from the subtle green tea scent and good value for money, the Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel is just that; good quality! It boasts a soap free formula which still thoroughly cleans your skin with an impressive foaming lather, and this is a selling point for someone like me who has sensitive skin and needs to watch the chemicals they use. It is gentle and refreshing; perfect for a morning shower.

I am not often organised enough first thing in the morning to use a co-ordinating shower gel/body moisturiser combo, but when I do, I pretty much feel like I could rule the world. Co-ordinating your product scents really helps to encourage the fragrance to last longer, and although the Fuji Green Tea range doesn’t have a particularly strong scent, it has a sublte refreshing, almost uni-sex scent that is definitely favourable.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter* did not let me down. I still stand by the fact that Body Shop body butters are the best body moisturisers I have ever used, and this version takes on a new scent whilst retaining the 24-hour moisturising formula I know and love. At £13, it is the standard price for a body butter and a price that I will happily pay, although The Body Shop run so many promotions on their products both online and in store that I rarely ever have to pay full price; look out for an offer and when there is one, try this.
