The ‘No Makeup’ Makeup Look with Belle Azul

During the summer, I prefer to wear minimal makeup and so having a ‘no makeup’ makeup look is truly the way I go on a day-to-day basis. Sure, at the weekend I’ll slap on some lippy and eyeshadow, but for the most part I like to have a lightly covered complexion and simple, fluttery eyelashes. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying out some new products from Belle Azul to help me achieve the classic ‘no makeup’ makeup look.

The last part of my skincare routine and first part of my ‘no makeup’ makeup look is always to use sun protection, which is why right now I have been trying out the Belle Azul Matte Fluid SPF 50+, a sun protection cream that keeps the skin fully refreshed and revitalized. It contains aloe vera chamomile to soothe even sensitive skin and speaking of someone with an easily irritated complexion, I have not been irritated by it yet, which is great.

Over my SPF, I like to add some light coverage makeup. Nothing too heavy or in your face, something subtle so you can still see my skin underneath but with something to blur our the imperfections. From Belle Azure, I have been trying the BB cream 8 benefits in 1 which comes in just three colours for now (I have the lightest, of course!). Eight benefits is a high claim, but this BB cream promises to: 1. Tones and even complexion. 2. Brighten your natural glow. 3. Reduce imperfection. 4. Hydrates the skin. 5. Minimize pores’ appearance. 6. Control excess oil. 7. Protects skin from free radicals 8. Reduce the appearance of fine lines.

To finish off the ‘no makeup’ makeup look, I add a lashing of mascara with the Belle Azul 360 Volumizing Mascara. It costs $12.99 which is a reasonable price and gives a nice natural length and volume. With one coat it looks super natural so I like to add on a couple of coats whilst still wet to ensure my eyelashes look as fluttery as possible. It’s the icing on top of the cake for the ‘no makeup’ makeup look for summer.
