Using flowers as a gift or a representation dates back to 2,500 BCE, when the ancient Egyptians would adorn their homes at certain times of the year. Today, the act of giving flowers to convert a message is alive and well, with the floral industry being worth £1.3 billion in the UK alone.

Any message can be conveyed with suitable types of flowers. Depending on the species and colour can be used for multiple or different occasions. 

Bereavement and Funerals

Death is a fact of life and happens to us all. But knowing and understanding that never makes it any easier. The loss of a loved one is one of the most challenging times for anybody, and not much you can do or say will ease the pain. You can, however, show your respect for the departed and your support for the grieving with a special flower arrangement.

Depending on culture, there are numerous species of flowers traditionally passed along. For example, the Chinese give red orchids while the Japanese often adorn funerals with chrysanthemums. For any couple, the wedding anniversary is the one day you cannot forget. Hell hath no fury….
