Top 5 Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks

Urban Decay are one of my favourite makeup brands: not only are they bold and experimental, they are cruelty free and so you can indulge in your favourite colour cosmetics guilt-free. One of their newest launches, the new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks pride themselves in ultra pigmented, long-lasting lip formulas cross an incredible 120 colours. Phew! That’s a lot of lipsticks to swatch.

Thankfully, today I am only sharing with you my Top 5 Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks – otherwise we might just be here all day… (With very sore lips!).

I have selected my Top 5 Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks based on sampling a range of shades suitable for every makeup lover; everyone needs a bold red that makes them feel like they can takeover the world, a subtle nude for those ‘no makeup makeup’ days, a berry for Autumn Winter and a bright purple for bold summer night. Oh, and who doesn’t need a bright sparkly pink, right?

From left to right these shades are Spiderweb (a blue toned classic red), Big Bang (a bright pink with added sparkles), Firebird (a deep yet bright berry colour), Backtalk (a nude with a subtle grey undertone) and final Jawbreaker (an undeniable purple).

My favourite of the shades has to be Big Bang, simply due to the unusual addition of glitter within the lipstick – this is why I love Urban Decay so much, they always think outside the box to create something unforgettable.

The pigmentation of each of the Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks is excellent – only one coat is needed and when used with a lipliner will easily last you morning til lunch time (little top up), then afternoon ‘til evening out. The formula is creamy and matte enough without being drying. At £15 I think these perform exceptionally well against other lipsticks of their price range and over.
