Say hello to the new staple item must have for Spring 2017 – the white blazer. While blazers have been a consistent staple item in the fashion world for many years, white is making a big comeback this season and its the perfect way to update your wardrobe for Spring. Although the thought of white can be a little scary (let’s be real, those who dabble in fake tan know the perils of those pesky orange streaks!), it’s actually surprisingly easy to wear and goes with just about anything. Today’s new white blazer SS’17 investment is from indie Manchester fashion brand Unique21.
Although this is an outfit I’ve recently been wearing to work (albeit I must admit I can’t hack the heels all day!), it works just as well for Spring evening drinks in the local beer garden with your friends or for a ladies-who-brunch date. Today I’m wearing in with skinny jeans and a high neck floral blouse from Closet London, but it would look equally as stylist with my black culottes and white blouse outfit.
Today I’ve paired the white blazer with a pair of white heels with gold capped toes to pick up the gold detail in my clutch bag/come organiser. Infact, this metallic accessory not only looks great but is totally practical for work too, as it’s a gold Filofax iPad case; one side for your tablet, the other for a notepad, pad and whatever else you fancy popping in there!
