White Wrap Blouse

Sometimes its as simple as black and white… Just like this outfit of the day. I don’t wear skirts often but I’m starting to get into them more and they seem far easier to wear when they’re in monochrome. A simple black skirt, a simple white top; it’s easy to pop together and looks effortlessly chic.

The blouse I’m wearing today is actually a White Wrap Blouse from Closet London. I absolutely love those guys; they are such a lovely boutique brand that keep creating beautiful garments at affordable prices. They are so unique and well tailored that I get compliments every time I wear something from them, which really is a sign of a good outfit.

For the rest of my outfit, I mixed up some textures to combat the monochrome tones and stop them from looking –too- plain. My skirt for example is faux suede and my boots add some fun movement through the fringed detail. My handbag is faux patent leather as well, which contrasts quite nicely. Contrasting textures are a great way to mix up a look when you don’t fancy playing with colour.
