Wrap Over Jacket with Tailored Trousers

Joint Pug Momma and Pug Puppy outfits are apparently a thing now. I mean, when Sonny gets sent a beautiful grey jumper and I get a grey Wrap Over Jacket to match, it’s basically destiny, right? It has to happen and I am personally loving the style inspiration Sonny is giving me right now. We are grey, navy and nude colours all over and I think it’s perfect for transitioning from Winter to Spring.

I’ve been wearing this Wrap Over Jacket so often as although it looks smart, it’s actually so warm and comfortable – it’s fleece lining gives you the benefit of wearing a fleece without having to go for granny chic. It’s tie-in waist goes especially well with tailored trousers, giving such a polished look without having to go all the way out with a stiff blazer or maxi coat.

Coincidentally, pretty much this whole outfit is from Apricot Clothing; the Wrap Over Jacket, tailored trousers and blouse I am wearing are all from there and probably cost a lot less than you would imagine. I’ve recently rediscovered Apricot and am so impressed with the quality of each of these items.

Tailored trousers can be a bit pricey and although I would be willing to pay for such a flattering fit, I was blown away by the affordability of these navy trousers. Paired with a nude pussy bow blouse also from Apricot (a very close dupe of this Saint Laurent beauty – can you spot the difference?) you’re good to go.

My accessories? A pair of nude heels and shades to keep the look neutral, a Topshop handbag that picks out the exact colours in the outfit. Oh, and a perfectly cute, perfectly co-ordinating pug puppy.
